JDx777 Next Talent Contest
In 2022, the JDx777 Next Talent Contest demonstrated its effectiveness as a platform for nurturing young artists in the Netherlands. Utilizing an online platform managed by @777recordlabel on TikTok, along with in-store auditions at JD outlets, aspiring talents had the opportunity to exhibit their abilities, aiming for the coveted prize of a fully supported release under the 777Records label.
For this year's edition, the contest was inaugurated at 7Fest, featuring the JD Talent stage, thereby enriching the experience and offering the winners a live performance platform. The JD stage was produced by our talented team at The Icon Hub, alongside additional booths and activations were implemented to make it an unforgettable experience.

Aspiring musicians on TikTok and established artists alike use TikTok to push their music to fans. Dutch rapper Frenna, the campaign's face, dropped three new songs, which featured in the Next Talent Contest on the 777Records TikTok page. This competition welcomed nationwide participants to showcase their singing skills by TikTok duets (#openversechallenge) for a shot at victory, attracting a multitude of incredibly talented individuals.
Taking the contest offline provided young talent with the opportunity to increase their chances of showcasing their skills.
Across four JD stores, we rolled out our Next Talent booth, with the goal of identifying one winner per city. Contestants utilised the same sound as the online contest, ensuring a consistent narrative. Frenna announced the contest's move to in-store through his posts.
